Neck and back pain

Neck and back pains are one of the common reasons for absence from work and for seeking medical treatment. It can be uncomfortable and debilitating.

Acute Pain- Most cases of back or neck pain resolve within 2 to 6 weeks and are considered acute pain. The most common cause is muscle injury.

How are back and neck pain treated?

Acute pain
  • Simply improve with some rest.
  • Over-the-counter medicines
  • Do some stretching exercises.
Chronic pain

It can be of any of the following types:
